D.O. Allen Homes Celebrates Grand Opening Of New Hanover Project

July 2, 2007

Local builder D.O. Allen Homes held the grand opening for its newest project, Creekside Village, the weekend of June 23rd and June 24th.  Located in Hanover County just off Route 360 three miles east of I-295, Creekside Village is very unique to the area.  This 97-unit town home community is a desirable maintenance-provided neighborhood with charming pocket parks and walkways.

Many Richmonders stopped by the Creekside Village sales center over the weekend to check out the new project, and enjoy cool refreshments and snacks.  Radio disk jockey “Sid” from Q94’s morning show “Melissa and Sid” was on site Sunday broadcasting live, and also gave away a HD Radio to a lucky visitor.

New homebuyers looking for convenience and great homes should look no further than Creekside Village.  With prices starting in the low $200,000s, this community will be a welcome option for first time homebuyers, young professionals and families, and people of all ages who are looking for an affordable new home in Hanover.  Also, Creekside Village will be walking distance to shops, as well as restaurants and entertainment, and is only moments from I-295, I-64 and I-95.

“We are very excited about our newest maintenance-provided community and the diversity of homebuyers it will appeal to,” said Kaki Zell, Sales Manager.  “With such a successful grand opening, we are looking forward to being back in Hanover and bringing the D.O. Allen hallmark of a carefree lifestyle to a whole new group of customers.”

D.O. Allen Homes has plans for two decorated models at Creekside Village, as well as a projected amenity for community social purposes.  Homebuyers will be able to choose
from different floorplans, each with flexible second floors accommodating two or three bedrooms. Creekside Village has already generated a significant amount of interest, and lot holds have already been placed.

Children in Creekside Village will attend Pole Green Elementary, Stonewall Jackson Middle and Lee Davis High Schools.

To learn more about Creekside Village, visit the sales center, located about 3 miles east of I-295 at the intersection of Mechanicville Turnpike and Creighton Parkway.  The sales center is open from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from noon until 5 p.m. Friday through Sunday.
