Laura Tischler
Sales Manager
Laura Tischler graduated from the College of Charleston, South Carolina where she obtained her B.A. in English and minored in Communications. After graduation, she began teaching English at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. She moved to Richmond in 2000 and continued teaching high school English and then middle school Writing. After teaching for 12 years Laura wanted a quieter office. She obtained her real estate license in May 2005 and was hired by D.O. Allen Homes the following August, starting as a Sales Assistant. According to Laura, changing careers has been “challenging and completely satisfying! I love being in sales and I love working for a family like the Allen’s.” In her leisure time, Laura has completed over 40 marathons and ultra marathons. These days, if Laura isn’t working on sales at “The Terraces” or running on trails, she can be found at her husband’s health food restaurant, Palani Drive, in Richmond.

Mariline Schwebel
Sales Repesentative
Mariline Schwebel grew up in France where she worked for 19 years as a private secretary for a digestive surgeon. When she married Michel, they moved together to the States and have enjoyed living here for over 11 years. Mariline is often outdoors. She takes long walks (sometimes with Oreo, a neighbor’s new puppy) and often goes to nearby Panera Bread, to sit outside and have coffee. She likes traveling and reading. Last but definitely not least, Mariline likes to grab a daily workout at American Family Fitness! She’s a total workout girl who says nothing starts a day off better than a good sweat at the gym.
Mariline was hired by D.O. Allen Homes in August of 2010. She says it was easy to train for her new job as she and Michel bought a condominium at “The Terraces” in 2007, and so she was already familiar with the floor plans, the selections and construction quality. Mariline says she enjoys working at and living at The Terraces.

Terry Davis
Project Manager and Service Field Representative
Terry Davis, has been working at D.O. Allen Homes, Inc. for 16 years. He brings over 30 years of experience in building and development fields. He has helped build and run many neighborhoods all over the Richmond area. A few of which are Laurel Meadows, Parke West, and Martin’s Grant off Old Gun Road. On his days off, Terry enjoys renovating his investment homes, and if the weather is good he likes to go fishing. Terry has been happily married to JoAnn for 32 years.
